Question of the Week

I'm curious on alot of questions so I'm going to start posting a question of the week. I hope to get some feed back from you guys! So......

Do you let your kids choose what they wear and how they wear their hair, or do you choose for them?

I'm going through this right now with my three year old. She wants to wear a dress all the time and nothing else. She won't ever wear what I want her to wear. She also is very picky on how I fix her hair. So let's hear about what you do with your kids. Is this a battle we should even fight?

Are you referring to the lovely white and black number she had on the other night? That might be a fight worth fighting. ;)

You can fight....but you might not win :)

I know!! That thing is hideous! She got that shopping with her nana and she just had to have it. Her nana did not pick it out though that was all Lily. Were going to have to work on her taste of clothing.

I give Briley choices of 2 outfits and I let her wear the one she wants. I also give her the choice of 1 ponytail holder or 2, she usually goes for 2. It's all about the choices, and of course I give her choices of outfits that I want her to wear.....I am sure my day will come!

I think its a girl thing, my boys would not get dreesed if I didnt put something on them=) I dress three boys a day. Maybe someday I will have a little girl!!

I try to pick out Brinley's clothes and then she always says, no I dont like that. So then I will get another outfit that I like, and tell her she can wear one of the two. She thinks she is getting her choice that way and I think I am getting part of mine :) She is very into Matching right now, if she thinks something doesnt match I have to show her exactly where and how it matches, so she will wear it. :) Especially with her bows, she doesnt like her hair up, cause she says it hurts... so we do it down alot more now.

You got a lot of good advice, i'm glad you posted the question so i could read all the great advice. I don't really fight that battle too much. If i do it is what jersey he wants to wear..... I don't care!!! Like Nicole said, just wear something!
