Over the weekend we stopped in at a walgreens and I sent Brad in to get some chips and some pop to go with our sandwiches for the evening. Needless to say he came out with more than I asked for including these princess shirts for his princesses.
He said he just couldn't help himself when he saw them! He does this cute little thing with the girls when he asks them who's my princess, they say "ME". It's sooooo cute! So here are some cute pictures I got of them in there new princess shirts.

Panini
Have you ever tried these?
I then wrap them in foil and write on the outside. I also wrote how many points they were since we are doing weight watchers.
Then pop them into the freezer for
We love these at our house but I hate paying the price for convenience food.
I started making these and freezing them for a quick and easy meal. Especially good for Brad when I work on the weekends.
I use-
1 loaf french bread
Ham or Turkey(you could also use chicken)
Pepper jack or american cheese
Olives
Banana peppers
You could pretty much use whatever you like.
I put them on my george foreman grill to get the grilled look.
I then wrap them in foil and write on the outside. I also wrote how many points they were since we are doing weight watchers.
Then pop them into the freezer for
a quick lunch or dinner.

Question Of The Week
How much does your family spend on groceries a month?
Do you include toiletries in this amount?
How many mouths do you feed?
*I thought I should include what we spend*
We budget around $300 a month for groceries and toiletries
but we usually spend more like $325-350 a month.
This gets us meals for seven days a week including Brad's lunches. He goes out to eat once a week at work, and we usually eat out 1-2 times a month as a family.

What will you choose today?
Have you ever noticed the way we act may rub off on another person?
I've been noticing it lately with my girls. Like this morning Sadie was crying because she wanted coke(like she ever gets coke for breakfast!) it wasn't until Lily said I'll have juice did she say I want juice too and was all of the sudden happy. It's amazing when one of my kids acts the right way it(usually) rubs off on the other one to start acting better.
So I challenge all of us to be more aware of our attitudes and how we affect others with the way we act. You never know who we might be affecting with a good attitude, or even worst a bad attitude.
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5

Zig-zag ponies
I recently fell in love with this website. I've gotten tons of ideas for my girlies hair and have been trying them out. Well at least on Lily. Sadie doesn't have much to work with! Poor thing! Here is one I did on Lily recently.

Spicy Chicken Tacos
This was one of our favorite recipes that we tried last week.
*Warning this is extremely spicy*
Ingredients
3 chicken breast shredded
2 cups chicken broth
2 chipolte peppers in adobo sauce
2 tablespoons or more(if you like it spicy) of the adobo sauce
Tortillas
Sour cream
Cheese
Put the chicken in a skillet with 2 cups chicken broth, bring to a boil and simmer with lid on until chicken is cooked through. Let cool slightly and then shred. Put chicken back into skillet with one cup of reserved broth. Add peppers and sauce, simmer until heated through.
We used whole wheat tortillas spread with a little sour cream and sprinkled with cheese. These were really good but be sure you have a big cup of water because they were spicy!!

Question of the Week
I'm curious on alot of questions so I'm going to start posting a question of the week. I hope to get some feed back from you guys! So......
Do you let your kids choose what they wear and how they wear their hair, or do you choose for them?
I'm going through this right now with my three year old. She wants to wear a dress all the time and nothing else. She won't ever wear what I want her to wear. She also is very picky on how I fix her hair. So let's hear about what you do with your kids. Is this a battle we should even fight?

Luke
Have you ever read God's word and just stopped and realized that the writer of whatever it is you were reading was extremely skilled? This is how I feel about Luke. My favorite book that he wrote is Acts. He is such an intelligent writer yet he breaks it down to make the most basic of Christ followers understand the stories that he is telling. He brings you into God's word and makes you feel like you are there. For me he helped start my fire for Christ again. If you are in a drought in your walk consider reading the book of Luke or Acts.
Is there a writer that helped you reconnect with God? What's your story?
